An update from CBU Russia Team A: Incredible as it may seem, we have already been in St. Petersburg for 4 days! Our journey to Russia was uneventful! We were blessed to spend an afternoon in Heidelberg, Germany-tasting the local German food and enjoying the beautiful sights of the college town. We landed late at night in St. Petersburg, with most of our luggage! Kayla’s guitar however, did not arrive. We spent the next two hours filing paperwork to try to locate the lost guitar. CBU: Orientation and exploring the city.

The first day of training has finished and the teams are getting ready to get some sleep after a long day! The teams send their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip. On the first day of training the teams went through an orientation where they found out the “dos and don’ts” of living in Russia and their role within SunErgos ministry! Summer Camps

It is that time of year once again! Even though the trees are just starting to sprout, our summer Camps are about to start in Russia! This year, from May to September, SunErgos will host six camps for orphans and street kids in Russia! With the help of four ministry teams and one Intern, hundreds of children will experience hope, love and grace. Interns: In Novgorod!

We are now in Novgorod! But the last days in St. Petersburg were not to be forgotten . Some of our new amazing friends from camp met up with us in the city to show us what their city was about. The bus driver from camp took us on an amazing night tour of the city. We also were invited to the cook from camps house for an amazing dinner with her and her daughter.
