SPU: The final team for the summer has arrived!

The team from Seattle Pacific University has arrived and is sleeping after their long flight. Everything is well and their luggage arrived on time; an important fact when traveling internationally. Tomorrow they start the 3 days of training, learning about history, culture and the Russian language. Please pray for the team as they get used to the 11 hour time change, for safety and for health. You may leave your comments and words of encouragement for the team. They will be read daily.

After getting some much needed rest, they will have two days to do some Russian language training and sightseeing. Then they will be off to the Gulf of Finland to minister to the physically and mentally disabled youth. … Continue reading

There was the difficulty in raising funds, the worry about not having a job when I return, and the fact that I had a … Continue reading

In small group we discussed the importance of respecting each other through our words and our actions. Thursday Noah’s Ark was the example we used to teach about excellence. It showed the kids that without courage, caring, diligence, and respect you cannot be excellent. Carley had the opportunity to … Continue reading
