SPU: Back in the city…

Greetings from St. Petersburg! Krista here reporting that we have safely returned to the city this afternoon and can proudly say that we have survived the Russian Wilderness, or as Kalie would say “Russian Wild”. Apart from countless mosquito and horse fly bites, the team is all doing physically well. We all experienced some form of illness while at camp, but we were eagerly mended to by the amazing doctor on staff and have all recovered. Interns: Heading off to camp tomorrow!

Priviet from Russia! The past couple of  days we have spent getting some rest in St. Petersberg before we depart to the disabled youth camp on the Gulf of Finland tomorrow morning. We are so excited to go and work with the kids, but these past couple days have been so much fun. Our beautiful, wonderful translator and friend, Marina, has been taking very good care of us, giving us Russian lessons and taking us around the city.
