Vanguard: On our way to Novgorod!

Prevyet! (Hello in Russian) We are currently on our way to Novgorod to start our work with children at the TB Children’s Center. The last two days have been full of many useful training sessions and some amazing sightseeing in Saint Petersburg. We are all very happy to be here, we have no problem being the loudest people on the streets. Vanguard: And they have arrived!

Vanguard Team has arrived!  They are partnering with SunErgos to lead a 2 week camp at a TB Children Center in Novgorod. They had a delayed flight coming out of LA, which caused a missed connection in Moscow. All of their luggage made it with them and they are excited to finally be home! Well, their home for 3 weeks at least! After long travels, they are on their way to their place of housing to get the sleep that each one craves! Thank you everyone for your prayers! CBU: Team three has arrived!

A third team from California Baptist University has just arrived to lead our June camp in St Petersburg! Even though one suitcase is in transit, they are excited to finally be in Russia! And, after long travels, they are finally getting some long awaited rest and soon going to sleep!  Remember, it is 11 hours difference from their home, California, to St Petersburg time. Summer Camps!

It is that time of year once again! Our summer Camps are about to start! This summer, from May to August, SunErgos will host eight camps for orphans and street kids in Russia! With the help of five ministry teams and 3 Interns, hundreds of children will experience hope, love and grace. Teams are coming from California Baptist University, Vanguard University and Seattle Pacific University. Vanguard: Tomorrow we say goodbye…

Our time here in Russia is quickly winding down to an end. Tomorrow, we will finish the wonderful and fun two week day camp at the TB children’s center. It feels like just yesterday that we were meeting the kids and playing our first game of Russian zombie tag with them! Over the last two weeks, we performed a continuous skit in which Sean played our helpful and loyal guide.
