One week of ministry is now completed. We are tired, but so moved by how God has moved in our work. The kids are great to work with. They do everything we ask them to do and more. It is difficult to get away at the end of the day because they want to tell you bye and give us high five’s multiple times. Continue reading
After a very long flight of over 34 hours, the second team from California Baptist University has arrived! Everyone was tired, but very excited to be finally in Russia! The team has been training and exploring the beautiful city of St Petersburg! Today they went out in pairs for an assignment which is part of the 3 day training SunErgos provides.
Priviet from across the globe! Today is the second day at the Children Center and our spirits are high and our smiles are big. So far we have had two sessions with the kids. We work with the kids (ages 3-17) from 10am-1pm followed by a break and then back again from4pm-6pm. We start each session with a skit followed by a lesson, a craft and then games, games, games!
Priviet! Our team has been in Russia for a few days now and it has been beyond our wildest dreams. Every street, every building, every person is the exact definition of beauty. We have been trying hard not to stick out as loud, tourist-like Americans but we can’t help but carry our cameras with us at all times.
We said goodbye to two teams and greeted the third team for the summer. We are excited to see another group of young people wanting to come to Russia and serve the Lord as they minister to children and teens.
