CBU: News from Novgorod

Another update from the CBU team in Novgorod: I (Kristi) am pleased to tell you that our team has survived (and thrived) in our first week of minsitry in the transit centers here in Novgorod. In just one week, we have already learned so many of the stories of these children, and it burdens our hearts to labor even harder in order to share/plant seeds of the Gospel. CBU: Almost done with first week…

Intern: Summer Intern arrives tomorrow!

Tomorrow our Intern for the summer, Amanda Collins, arrives to serve alongside SunErgos. She will be working at all of our ministry locations, experiencing first hand the scope of our work. CBU: The last days of training

An update from CBU Russia Team A: Incredible as it may seem, we have already been in St. Petersburg for 4 days! Our journey to Russia was uneventful! We were blessed to spend an afternoon in Heidelberg, Germany-tasting the local German food and enjoying the beautiful sights of the college town. We landed late at night in St. Petersburg, with most of our luggage! Kayla’s guitar however, did not arrive. We spent the next two hours filing paperwork to try to locate the lost guitar. CBU: Orientation and exploring the city.

The first day of training has finished and the teams are getting ready to get some sleep after a long day! The teams send their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip. On the first day of training the teams went through an orientation where they found out the “dos and don’ts” of living in Russia and their role within SunErgos ministry!
