CBU: Second Day of Training

What a long day! Second day of training is finished and the team is getting some much needed rest! The day started out with learning about the rich Russian history! So much to share in just a few hours! By now they are all experts in Russian history! So, when they get home, make sure to ask them about some of the important people in Russian history. Along with the country’s history, the team found out that St Petersburg during WWII, then Leningrad, was under a 900 day blockade by the Germans. CBU: First day of Training

The first day of training has finished and the teams are getting ready to wake up for the second one! The teams send their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg, Russia! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip. CBU: Two teams from California Baptist University have arrived!

Our first 2 teams have arrived!  After long travels, they are on their way to their place of housing to get some long awaited sleep! Thank you everyone for your prayers! Please continue to pray for the 2 teams from California Baptist University as they go through a 3 day training, learning about Russian history and culture, and memorizing some Russian words! The training empowers the teams to serve even better throughout the camps this month. Our Intern has arrived!

Our Intern, Sean Stiles, has arrived in Saint Petersburg! He is excited to be back in Russia, even though his luggage did not make the arrival.  Hopefully, it will arrive within a few days.  Thank you everyone for praying for his safe travels! Sean will help with the training of our first 2 teams that will arrive later today.  Then he will head off to Novgorod to assist SunErgos staff and the CBU team with the camp at the orphanage. Summer Camps!

It is that time of year once again! Our summer Camps are about to start! This summer, from May to August, SunErgos will host eight camps for orphans and street kids in Russia! With the help of five ministry teams and 3 Interns, hundreds of children will experience hope, love and grace. Teams are coming from California Baptist University, Vanguard University and Seattle Pacific University.
