Lives are transformed! Each child and each team member is changed through the connections they have made in Eastern Europe through SunErgos International!
“I vividly remember the first day I walked into the small room of the orphanage where we would be spending the week working while in St. Petersburg. There in the corner crib sat a precious little girl, no older than 8 months, with the brightest little face that looked like it belonged anywhere other than in the crib she was sitting. This was Dasha. Each day it was so difficult to leave this room of babies, and to see little Dasha’s eyes well up in tears, and even more difficult to know that if I stayed and held her she would stop crying. It has been many years since that week I spent with Dasha, and yet I still have her face in my mind and continue to pray for her. I imagine the day that I will meet Dasha in heaven and know that she was the little baby I held in Russia…a long time ago!” Karen Springs, 2003 SPU Team Member. Now serving orphans in Ukraine.
