For the last two days we have played with children!
Each morning we run, swing, hug, laugh, smile, pull and love a group of orphaned children.
These little ones will spend 18 years in an orphanage because mommy and daddy did not want them.
Abandoned in the hospital, at a dumpster, or just brought to the orphanage and left in the hands of the government.
Their little faces, full of smiles and laughter, do not show the pain of abandonment and pain. Not yet, at least…
Please continue to pray for us as we spend this precious time with the kids.
As we pour as much love and care unto them – showing that their Heavenly Father loves them very much.

Laura,
Hope you are getting our replies. What a great picture of you and your little friend. What a sad story of their lives, but you and your team bring them hope through Christ.

Dear Laura —
I have no idea if I am submitting this properly, but know it is thrilling for us to watch your Christian team in action in Russia! We are inspired by your involvement, and can hardly wait to hear more from you when you return. In the meantime, know you are in our prayers. There is no question that you and your team are being the light, hands, and feet of Jesus.
Our whole family is with you in spirit!
Hey Brittany and Laura!!
This is Brian. I hope that both of you are doing well and are enjoying your time in Russia! What an amazing mission that you are a part of! I am sure you are making an enormous impact on these childrens’ lives–you are truly living out what Jesus envisioned. It is amazing that I know two people on the trip–and they are two of the finest representatives from Colorado I can think of. Well, have fun, learn some Russian so you can teach me, and we are all praying for you!
Hi Laura,
We are so proud of you! You look so happy and I am sure the children enjoy all the love you bring to them. Remember, we love you and you are always in our thoughts and prayers. You are very special!
