Today we experienced Russia! The snow, the ice, the wind, the drivers, the underground metro and the beauty of St Petersburg! We started with learning about the Russian culture, which will help us to relate to the kids a little better. 🙂 Then we found out what to do and what not do! First team is here!

The  first team has arrived! A team of 22 from King’s High School has come to spend their Spring break with the street kids of Russia! Amazingly all of their 40 bags made it safely! 🙂 They brought some amazing things to share with the kids! Tomorrow we start with a little bit of an orientation, then we will do some sightseeing, starting at Peter and Paul Fortress, the founding site of the city in 1703. Camps are starting early this year!

This year we start our “summer” camps in the spring! 🙂 At team of 22 from King’s High School in Seattle, WA will be arriving this Sunday to do a 6-day camp for the kids and teens at the Transit Center in St Petersburg, Russia! We are excited to host our first High School team! We are certain that God will work in amazing ways through this team, who will be ministering to their peers in Russia. Transit-Center, or as some called it "Fedor" has moved!

The place where SunErgos International has worked with since 2005, has moved to a better, bigger and brighter place! We are excited for the children and teens as they enjoy their new bedrooms, play areas, gymnasium and auditorium! These kids come from the streets or very abusive homes from all over the former Soviet Union.  Now they can stay in a beautiful home and be taken care of by great and loving staff.
