Yesterday marked the final day with the kids at the orphanage. It was a beautiful day, full of laughter, games, craziness, but also some saddened hearts in having to leave. (No matter where you are, kids will never turn down a surprise party with surprise gifts.)  But even with us ending our time in Russia and heading back to the States today, it all feels so far from the end. In many ways it feels like our team has been in Russia for just a few days. We are still learning many things about the culture, the people, and simply how to get from one place to the other.  Each day we are with the kids, they teach me something knew. Coming here, I can’t say I really knew what I was getting myself into.  I expected to come to Russia and spread God’s love to his children.
