CBU: We have met the kids!

Team B – St Petersburg Hey Mom, Dad, Jared, and all who have been supporting me! It has been so, so amazing here, and I can’t even begin to describe all that has happened so far. But I will say that my heart has definitely been broken for the orphans we’re working with, and I’m not going to want to leave! Thanks for all your prayers; please keep praying! – Joelle Hi Mom and Lexie, I miss you so much. CBU: Training and Sightseeing!

Hello from team Russia B. We have been having fun learning about the language and history of Russia. We have had the opportunity to ride the Metro, eat the local foods, and go on a few cultural excursions. Our fieldworker has been wonderful as she has been helping us acclimate. We are staying in a beautiful building with comfortable beds and warm showers! Continue to pray for our team as we are preparing to serve the orphans here. Dasvidaniya!   ~Rebecca ——– [Pree-v-yet] from Russia!  We’ve been here for 2 days now and MAN do we have some stories for you! … Continue reading

Two teams from CBU arrived today!

Our summer camps are about to start! The teams from California Baptist University have arrived safely and are getting ready to go to sleep. It is 2:30 am, which makes it a late night. 🙂 Everything went well with their flights and their luggage arrived in one piece. 🙂  Tomorrow we start training with some Russian Language and sightseeing in the afternoon. Please keep us in your prayers for safety and health. Please leave comments for the team! 🙂

Each child has a special story and I’ve enjoyed hearing various details from them. I also love when it’s not raining and we are able to take the children outside. I am sad to leave soon, but know the Lord has placed us here for a reason … Continue reading
