Hard to believe we leave for home tomorrow! The trip has gone by so fast!
It was very difficult to say goodbye to the kids on Sunday, but we left knowing that they are resting in the hands of God and that the fieldworkers here will continue to minister to them long after we leave.
Our final day in the orphanage was a celebration, both of our time together and that one young man decided to come to Christ. We are praying that God will continue to open his heart and that the words he spoke will take root and flourish.
Today was spent debriefing, an event the team thought was designed to be a “cry-fest.” Thankfully, however, we all had a lot of fun reliving the moments that made our time here so special. We even compiled our experience into a short skit which, in our humble opinions, is hilarious.
Our final prayer requests are to lift up guy who expressed interest in following God and for safe travels tomorrow.
