A Busy Week Ahead!

Our final team for the year is here! The team from Three Rivers Church sends their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg, Russia! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip. On the first day the team went through an orientation where they found out the “dos and don’ts” of living in Russia! As well as learning some Russian alphabet, numbers and colors. Very important things to know when working with kids! In the afternoon each one experienced riding the underground metro, which is exciting and terrifying at … Continue reading

Nothing is Uncertain to God

Yesterday marked the final day with the kids at the orphanage. It was a beautiful day, full of laughter, games, craziness, but also some saddened hearts in having to leave. In the Tiniest of Hands

He never fails to use the children to teach me about His incredible love. Every morning, the most precious mass of adorable, … Continue reading

Seattle Team: We have met the kids!

Preevyet!  Mean-yah zah-voot, Lacey Martin!  (For those of you wondering, yes, this is one of the team members writing.) 🙂 I just wanted to take a moment and share a little bit about our experiences from the past few days upon arriving in St. Petersburg.  Although my personal beginning started out with a few bumps, (one flight delay which totally altered my entire day of departure/flight schedule),  I safely landed on Russian soil–praising the Lord for the evidences of His hand throughout it all, and being welcomed by the director of SunErgos–a sight for tired eyes.  I was then transported … Continue reading
