CBU: First day of Training

The first day of training has finished and the teams are getting ready to wake up for the second one! The teams send their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg, Russia! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip. CBU: Two teams from California Baptist University have arrived!

Our first 2 teams have arrived!  After long travels, they are on their way to their place of housing to get some long awaited sleep! Thank you everyone for your prayers! Please continue to pray for the 2 teams from California Baptist University as they go through a 3 day training, learning about Russian history and culture, and memorizing some Russian words! Our Intern has arrived!

Our Intern, Sean Stiles, has arrived in Saint Petersburg! He is excited to be back in Russia, even though his luggage did not make the arrival.  Hopefully, it will arrive within a few days.  Thank you everyone for praying for his safe travels! Sean will help with the training of our first 2 teams that will arrive later today.  Then he will head off to Novgorod to assist SunErgos staff and the CBU team with the camp at the orphanage. SPU: Goodbye, paka, dosvidaniya…TB Center…

Today we had to say our final goodbyes to the children that we have spent the last three weeks with at the TB Center. All of the children have touched our hearts in many ways and it was really difficult saying goodbye. We have made memories that are going to last a lifetime. Our time here is Russia has been full of laughs, love, and joy. Russia will always have a place in our hearts because of the beautiful children, generous people, and tasty food. SPU: Camp is over and we are back in St Petersburg…

Dear Family, Friends and Loved Ones, Hello! We are back safe and sound in St. Petersburg and are currently starting to get ready to come back home on Sunday. We know that you guys are as excited to see us as we are to see you, but to be honest we’re definitely going to miss Russia.
