\"\"<\/a>The last couple of days have been great.\u00a0 We\u2019re really making a lot of connections with these kids.\u00a0 Our favorite part of the day is when we arrive and they scream \u201cAmericantsy, Americantsy\u201d and throw their arms around us to greet us.\u00a0 There is a bit of sadness each day as we say \u201cpaka\u201d (bye) or \u201cdasvidania\u201d to them.\u00a0 It is hard to believe that tomorrow is our last day of this.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow we will spend the morning at the Hermitage Museum, then off to the Transit Center for our good bye party.\u00a0 We have our time there packed full of planned fun and crafts, although it could be like any other day where we just throw it all out the window and let the kids lead us into a new understanding of how to experience life.\u00a0 None of us know what to expect, but we\u2019re sure it will not be easy.<\/p>\n

Looking back at our time with the kids, we have had a lot of challenges, joys, heartaches, laughter, excitement and wonder.\u00a0 We have each \"\"<\/a>been stretched in so many ways.\u00a0 And while our time here is coming to an end, we know that there will be a part of us left here in this wonderful country with these fantastic kids, but we will be taking all of experiences, laughter, sights and memories back with us!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
