{"id":2239,"date":"2013-09-18T23:31:04","date_gmt":"2013-09-19T06:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sunergosint.org\/blog\/?p=2239"},"modified":"2013-09-18T23:31:04","modified_gmt":"2013-09-19T06:31:04","slug":"celebrating-a-birthday-with-the-kids","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sunergosint.org\/blog\/celebrating-a-birthday-with-the-kids\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating a birthday with the kids!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Day 5<\/p>\n<p>Happy Birthday Bonnie!!!<\/p>\n<p>What a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious day this was!!\u00a0 In the morning we spent a little time shopping and having lunch in a mall that I think had about 56 floors.\u00a0 Tessa, Thomas, and Savannah really enjoyed that, and\u2026wait for it\u2026Jami, Anne and Bonnie got their beloved Starbucks!<\/p>\n<p>When we got to the orphanage it was Bonnie and Anne\u2019s day to lead the lesson.\u00a0 The story was Jesus feeds 5,000 and the topic was \u201cthankfulness\u201d.\u00a0 Bonnie shared some stories about her life and used them to teach the kids how thankful she has been to God and his love for her.\u00a0 Anne told the story of Jesus feeding 5,000 with her (should be trademarked) smile, and God was shining right through her face; yes, I am serious, I saw it!\u00a0 Anne and Bonnie were truly God inspired deliverers of his love and Word today.\u00a0 Bravo!<\/p>\n<p>One of today\u2019s crafts was to make a thank you card for someone, and MANY chose to make Bonnie a birthday card.\u00a0\u00a0 She saved them all for a quiet and thankful treat in private before bed.\u00a0 We ended our day with a birthday dinner at a restaurant with authentic Russian food and ambiance.\u00a0 We played dominoes at the table and savored every single yummy filled bite!\u00a0 It was a brilliant night!\u00a0 We got home late and of course drained but we filled up on sharing our high\u2019s and low\u2019s of the day, and a devotional led by Anne.\u00a0 We all went to bed with full tummies and a big drink of spiritual refill.<\/p>\n<p>Again, thank you all for your support, prayers, and posts.\u00a0 We cannot possibly get enough of all three.\u00a0 We miss you, we talk about you, and we pray for you, we love you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>Written by Tracy<\/em><\/p>\n<p>P.S.
