\"IMG_5813\"<\/a>Day four in Russia began with a morning of sightseeing.\u00a0 We visited the Sphinx from Egypt, Saint Nicholas\u2019 Cathedral, Cruiser Aurora and the Peter and Paul Fortress.\u00a0 Though the weather was cool and misty, they were amazing sights and our cameras were clicking away!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_5825\"<\/a>Our afternoon spent with the kids was another fun blessing.\u00a0 Everyone enjoyed the lesson of David and Goliath presented by Thomas!\u00a0 He had the kids act out the showdown.\u00a0 Goliath stood on top of large gym foam blocks and held a sword, while David was down on his knees with his two sheep on knees and hands.\u00a0 David took down Goliath with ping pong balls.\u00a0 It was great because Goliath literally lost his balance on the blocks and went down just like he does in the Bible.\u00a0 We laughed so much, it was fun.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_5866\"<\/a>There was a sad part in our day.\u00a0 Danya and Sasha (brothers) left the temporary orphanage to go to a permanent orphanage in the city of their birth.\u00a0 Due to their ages, 8 and 11, the odds are stacked against them when it comes to being adopted.\u00a0 We are praying for them and ask that you join us forevermore.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your lovely comments!!\u00a0 They fill us up in the morning before we leave, and at night when we are drained.\u00a0 We sit and listen like little kids as Tatiana reads them to us.
