Our final team for the year is here!<\/p>\n

\"Three<\/a>The team from Three Rivers Church sends their greetings to friends and family from Saint Petersburg, Russia! They are excited to be finally in Russia, after such a long time of preparation for their trip.<\/p>\n

On the first day the team went through an orientation where they found out the \u201cdos and don\u2019ts\u201d of living in Russia! As well as learning some Russian alphabet, numbers and colors. Very important things to know when working with kids!<\/p>\n

In the afternoon each one experienced riding the underground metro, which is exciting and terrifying at the same time. You have to get in and get out of the train very fast, along with the other 5 million Russians who live in St Petersburg! Once they got out of the metro, they saw the beautiful sight of the Spilled Blood Cathedral, which looks like a gingerbread house with all the colors and beautiful domes. Inside it is filled from floor to ceiling with paintings in mosaics showing the Bible in pictures!<\/p>\n

\"Three<\/a>The day ended with dinner at the “Tea Spoon”, where you can eat blini (thin crepes) with fillings from chocolate to chicken!<\/p>\n

Please continue to pray for the team as they start their first day of camp at the orphanage tomorrow.<\/p>\n
