\"\"<\/a>What a long day! Second day of training is finished and the team is getting some much needed rest!<\/p>\n

The day started out with learning about the rich Russian history! So much to share in just a few hours! By now they are all experts in Russian history! So, when they get home, make sure to ask them about some of the important people in Russian history.<\/p>\n

Along with the country\u2019s history, the team found out that St Petersburg during WWII, then Leningrad, was under a 900 day blockade by the Germans. Amazing to hear the stories of the survivors of such a horrific chapter in the city\u2019s history.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After\u00a0eating the famous “blini” for lunch,\u00a0the team had a few hours at the Hermitage Museum. The museum consists of the Winter Palace and five\u00a0smaller Palaces attached. To see everything in the museum, (3 million items), it will take over 5 years if you stop for at least a minute in front of each item! So, the only option is to move in and live at the museum for five years! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Then off to dinner the teams went to eat at a place that looks like a \u201cDacha\u201d. \u00a0To find out what a \u201cdacha\u201d is, look up online: \u201cRussian Dacha\u201d. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 They had a chance to try some \u201cpelmeni\u201d, which are dumplings with meat inside.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>And to finish off the very long day, the team went to a souvenir shop to buy some souvenirs and presents to take home.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow they will finish the training with learning about the culture of the Russian people. The differences and the similarities between Russia and the USA. Did you know that if you walk around smiling in Russia, that people will think that you are crazy? \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 And, it is rude to look someone in the eye at all times when you are talking with them!
